20,000 different voices sing together for the same goal:
PEACE
An initiative of individual voices who want to make a powerful voice heard for peace.
The world is on fire. Wars, tensions, divisions. That is why world leaders will soon meet in The Hague. But we, ordinary citizens — you and I — are also concerned. We do not want to be silent. We want to make our voices heard. A voice against war. A voice for peace. Everyone has a voice – and together we form a hopeful and urgent signal to the world and the leaders who will gather at the NATO summit on 24 and 25 June. Every voice is welcome, as long as we sing and speak together in harmony and with respect.
Everyone can sing. And singing together connects — it brings harmony to the chaos of everyday life.
For whom?
Give Peace a Voice is by and for everyone who wants to make a positive, powerful, peaceful voice heard. Because everyone has a voice, and connecting all those voices together sends a hopeful and urgent signal to the world and to the leaders who will soon gather during the NATO summit on 24 and 25 June. Everyone's voice is welcome, as long as you do so in harmony and with respect for each other.
Who is already participating?
Janne Schra, Lakshmi, Frank Lammers, Angela Groothuizen, and many other prominent Dutch people have promised to participate. Singer/director Leoni Jansen will lead the choir and bassist Lucas Dols will assemble a backing band.
